The Boeing 737-700 first entered service with Southwest Airlines in December 1997 and the airline currently operates more than 500 of the-700s. The -700 can carry up to 143 passengers in single-aisle, all economy, six-abreast seating. Older B737-700s are expected to be replaced by the new B737 MAX. Our Southwest B737-700 is dressed in the current "Heart" livery introduced in September 2014. The B737-700 is part of Boeing's Next Generation program, replacing the 737 Classic series. Interesting Fact: Boeing built a business jet based on the 737-700 and called it the BBJ. Interesting fact: The first flight of the 373 was more than two years before the first manned moon landing.
