The A321-200neo was introduced late in 2017 and American purchased six of the aircraft. The neo can reach a cruise altitude of 31,000 feet 4 minutes quicker than the original A321-200. American's A320-200s typically have 181 seats: 16 first class, 36 "Main Cabin Extra" and 129 "Main Cabin." Interesting Fact: The A321 produces the least noise measured at the ground.
